There’s always those people who will get on a game and will complain about how human players do not act the way they should on a basic human vs. monster PvP game, hosted on a gaming website directed to players of the age 10-18. Yep, that’s what this post is about and what I think about these people.
Let me get this straight with anyone who bothers to read this, I like to draw anime or in an art style, I don’t really care about watching or reading mangas and anime.
A lot of people I’ve met who’ve seen my sketchbook in real life assume that just because I draw similar to the style of anime that I watch every freaking anime under the sun and read everything printed and labeled as a manga. It’s really annoying when someone goes all anime fan on you and because you don’t really care about watching much of it or reading it, you have no freaking clue as to what they’re even talking about.
To be really honest, I would rather draw it than watch it or read it. In fact, I can’t really stand to watch it and me reading manga is extremely rare now.
I can’t tell you how many people assume that I like anime just because I draw it. When I say this, I mean the anime where you watch, not the art style. Just because someone likes to do or draw something, doesn’t mean that they necessarily likes it when someone else does it. This could’ve been put into better words and I feel like what I just said is confusing, but I don’t know how else to say it. Maybe you, the person reading this, will come up with a better sentence for what I just said and it actually makes sense to you.
Dubbed or Subbed?
To be honest,I like the dubbed animes more. Sure I said I don’t like to watch anime, but that doesn’t mean I’ve seen an episode here or there. The only full season of one I’ve watched would be the first season of AoT/SnK but just because I’ve only seen a few doesn’t mean I have a preference.
I don’t know why people like the subbed. If you wanted to read words constantly, why don’t you just get the stupid manga? Sure some of those animes out there don’t have a translated manga, but seriously. Just why?
I also don’t understand when people say “I think the original voice actors were better than the English ones.” No duh they sound different. It’s people from different regions, therefore they’re going to sound different.
Don’t act like I know every freaking anime and the characters and phrases in it. I won’t know what you’re talking about and will most likely look at you like you’re stupid. :>
Recently I had been encouraged by Shikareum and a school friend to make an Instagram account; here’s what happened to my account within 12 hours after making it. This post will also be in a story like format. :>
Today I had been awoken from a long sleep from my summer vacation from school from Shikareum calling me. She had finally gotten me to get up around 1 PM today, late but I had been up all night playing random crap with her and my sister. The usual hanging out and all. Since I’m a heavy sleeper who likes to sleep as long as she can, I was still pretty tired until I say that Shika had messaged me telling me that my Instagram account had been hacked. Hacked by some Russian to be exact.
For those of you who have been hacked before, it’s annoying to know that someone tried to trash you for their own purposes. In this case, from the pictures, the person had been trying to advertise what looked like leggings or some kind of spandex. I don’t really know, I don’t speak Russian the slightest bit, but it was annoying as crap.
Here I had literally made an Instagram account, now only being 24 hours old ( 22 about to be exact from the time of this post ) and it had already been hacked. AND SO EASILY!!!
After deleting the few posts that weren’t mine, I decided to look up how to make your Instagram account more secure. Literally the only things you can really do to make your Instagram account secure is add an email, phone number, and change your password. I don’t even know why they ask for a phone number and an email when;
- After checking my email, I got NOTHING about anything wrong or strange from my account.
- No texts or ANYTHING on the account getting a new phone number.
What is the point of even taking those two steps when they don’t even notify you on any changes on your account? The only thing, yes THING, that your email is good for is retrieving a forgotten password. I don’t even know what the phone number thing is for, other than setting the account to that specific phone, which obviously didn’t do sh*t to protect the account I made.
So what about security options and advice?
What makes me the angriest of all this is that my account had only been hours old, yet was hacked already. Not only that, Instagram has poor security options. All a person can do to protect their account is change the password after putting in their correct information such as a name, phone number and an email if desired. Those are the only things you can actually do.
A friend had suggested to me that you make a crazy long password. So I guess that’s the only advice I have for someone making a new account on Instagram so far.
For those who actually care, my Instagram account can be found here; Reshyreum on Instagram, or just look for the user name reshyreum. All I do is post pictures of my cat and my art on that account, so nothing great.
You really can start to get either ticked off with the people around you or you feel worthless. No matter how you feel, it’s still negative.
I’m bringing this up because I’m naturally a quiet person who doesn’t like to mess with people often. This has proven to make me so unnoticeable, literally some people seem to not even know that I exist. No problem for me since a majority of these people who don’t notice me, I don’t care for them. What bothers me is when people that someone who’s quiet like me actually tries to communicate and try to build some type of connection, they seem to ignore you.
I don’t know how many other people experience this, but it’s really annoying. I’m actually putting a lot of effort into saying hi to you and then you act like I don’t exist as soon as someone else comes near you. Not only that, you can be trying to get engaged in the conversation when everyone is talking about something that you actually know something about or can relate to. But they still seem to ignore you.
These are some of the reasons why I actually don’t bother to talk to many people. Even when you try to get out there and make a couple of friends, you are almost literally saying, “Hey, I’m right here!” Quiet people problems are so real sometimes.
About Kurai and the arguments I get into with him. Skip if not interested.
